The Dubai Dance and Culture Camp is a matey bellydance festival where we are going to discover the Dubai Bellydance Scene, the city, nature and culture together. The absolutely special is learning from Dubai's famous bellydancers. The program includes 3 main parts:

Workshop

workshops

You will learn from famous bellydancers who are all working in the UAE. The are all professionals in their field and specialized in their favorite topic.

Anusch Alawerdian

She will be teaching a sassy, cheeky, naughty yet elegant Baladi. You can already enjoy listening to the song 'Dah aino menny' by Amina.

Juddith Ruiz

Judith will be introducing powerful Dabke from traditional to modern style. You will get to know different styles, rhythms, music, evolution, choreography and steps to improvise.

Tania

Tania will be teaching arabic rhythmology. She combines cymbals with the beats of the frame drum to let the rhythm be felt deeper and to be danced smoothly and graciously.

Aruba

Aruba will be teaching the differences between Khaleegy and Iraqi in terms of music, props and evolution of folklore and modern style. We will discover how to perform in theater/ stage, private event or for socializing with the gulf ladies.

Vaina

She will teach an earthy and crazy Shaabi choreography magnouna style on a fun and entertaining song. This workshop will be broken down into technique, combination and full choreography.

Hana el Almaniah

Her workshop will focus on body management, anti aging, self control and motivation. She will as well analize which role oriental dance holds regarding physiological and psychological aspects.

We will visit these two famous towers of Dubai that are making the skyline most remarkable. You will have the opportunity to see them from outside with our group or to use your free time to go inside by yourself.

You will have the unique opportunity to take pictures in a typical Arabic setting weather it's in the desert or in front of Dubai's skyline. Transport will be arranged and covered.
